I've used up all of my sick days :(

I went and caught myself and little cold. :(  It has taken over my whole body. I feel so weak and tired. Not sure what kind of cold it is, but yesterday my throat was burning so bad. Then as it got later in the evening, pressure started to build up in my head and now today its all in my nose. I just hope I feel better tomorrow. I have made an eye appointment for Bobby and me. Bobby has to get his examamined for his doctor. A couple weeks ago we found out he has type 2 Diabetes and with that disease it can affect his vision. And for me, its been 6 years since I've been and my glasses I wear now dont do me any justice.

As for Christmas and New Years, spent both of them with the family and it was great. Hope everyone else's was great too! Gonna go get some rest now. TTYL!

    I'll try this again....

I just lost a whole blog! UGH! When I saved my blog as a draft and went browsing for a HTML to enter I lost my blog. I cant find it!!! With all of these changes done to spaces, I am lost. So forgive me for not leaving you with much of anything to catch up on. I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not so tired. I could use some pointers on how to change my sandbox with those poor little kittens in it. Spaces arent  like they used to be, I dont see anyplace to change it. Oh well.

Getting sleepy so I'll try for a third time tomorrow. Goodnight and Sleep tight!

    April 11

    Just a quickie...

    Hey guys!

Well, I'm totally pooped! I've been working 10 hour days this week. They're trying to break me in for my Stock Room Lead position. Really, I think they are trying to make me reconsider! LOL! This time of year is supposed to be slow, but for some reason its not, and our merchandise just keeps on coming.
It's raining out again. My daughter was scared to go to bed because of all the lightening and thundering going on. I think she was having flashbacks of our tornado episode. I'm kinda fearing it too. The wind started to pick up alot, and the roaring of the thunder was lasting long enough. Its not so bad now though, I'm  keeping an eye on the t.v. for an alert.
Gotta go finish up some laundary, just dont seem to have time for anything anymore. Doing laundary at 10 pm. HA! And poor me, I can hardly walk. My back and feet hurt so bad. I wanted to take a nice hot bath, but of course the storm had to prevent that. Boo-hoo! :(
Well, hope you all are doing well.
    TTYL!

10 Ways to be an obnoxious camper!

    1. Make your entrance to the campground fashionably late, preferably after10:00 pm., when there is no available light and everyone else is asleep.
    2. Drive around the entire campground with your brights on so you can inspect each potential campsite fully, and so campers can make shadow puppets inside their tent if they want. Feel free to idle your engine at high RPM's for long periods while you and your family carefully weigh the merits of each site, including those which are already taken.
    3. If you have a boat, camper, motor home or other vehicle that blocks your rear view, always back into your parking space. Again, take your time, preferably having someone in your party stand behind the vehicle, shouting directions at the driver. Keep at it until you get it exactly right, grinding your reverse gear, revving your engine and spinning your tires in the gravel as needed.
    4. If things take longer than you planned, which they probably will, swear a lot. This is, after all, the country. Do it loudly, leaning out your open window and with all the gusto you can muster. And don't forget the kids. It will ease the tension for everyone if you get them to cry.
    5. Pump and pump that lantern for all your worth (skip the directions, you can't see them anyway), then throw in a lit match and enjoy the majesty of your very own atomic blast. Keep the valve completely open, so your campsite will serve as a beacon for other campers who may be lost, dis-oriented or under the impression they were sleeping comfortably.
    6. Pack a tent that uses metal poles. Plastic poles just don't clang loudly enough when you throw the sack of them on the ground, trip over them and kick them out of the way.
    7. Be sure someone in your party is either: a) drunk and obnoxious; b) ill with bronchitis, emphysema or some other lung affliction that produces a loud hacking cough; c) tired and under the age of four, or d) all of the above.
    8. Hours later, when you have set up and fully decorated your campsite with hummingbird feeders, lawn chairs, Japanese lanterns and your newly made walking sticks, zip and unzip all the sleeping bags and tent vigorously four or five times each to ensure proper functioning for the night.
    9. Have a radio playing - a simple boom box or car radio will do. If the signal is weak, and there is a lot of crackle, you can always turn up the volume.

      And last but not least...

    10. Plan to have your entire party sleep late. There is always a family somewhere nearby with small children who rise and begin their day at the crack of dawn. They'd like to eat their granola bars and drop by to play trampoline on your tent. While their parents sip espresso and watch.
But don't leave now... There's more you can do, such as:
    • Go to sleep real late so you will have an excuse to sleep in while your kids go to neighboring sites to drool over other peoples breakfast.
    • Do your part to keep the forest tidy. Kick down and drag to your site any tree you can. Don't bother to cut it, just let it hang from the fireplace and feed it in as it burns.
    • Let your kids peel all the bark they can from the white birches. After all you paid for your site, you're entitled to do as you wish.
    • When you're breaking camp don't bother to get your tarp ropes down, Just hack them off at eye level. After all someone else might want to use them.
    • Don't bother to dispose of your bottle caps and cigarette butts. Folks are looking forward to living in your dirty ashtray, and the kids will love stepping on those bottle caps.
    • Get all the heavilly painted firewood you can. Old kitchen cabinets work great. Your neighbors will enjoy the lead, heavy metals and general crud all over their gear.
    • Travel light when you go to the shower. If the showers are metered you can always hit someone up for a quarter. Better yet try the sincere approach, ask folks to change a $20.
    • This goes beyond camping but what the heck. Don't forget the camcorder and make sure you get plenty of footage of things like trees and fences. Don't be bashfull about holding everyone up endlessly while you shoot your family documentary.

I think I will definetly use these great tips while we are out camping tonight! LOL! We're taking the kids this time, should be lots of fun (Yeah right!) and I went online to find some activities to do with them to keep them occupied and I ran into this list. ~Cute~ Well,  have a good one! I'll take lots of pics.

      Happy Birthday Bobby Dear!
    March 02

    Toothless 'ol bitty!

Well, today was the big day...went and had two teeth pulled. Ouch! I had went to the dentist a week ago for my toothaches and found out that I needed 3 root canals, cores and crowns, 3 fillings and of course it was time for a cleaning too. It all would have added up to oh........about $3,000.00!!!! Well, needless to say, I dont have that kinda money and no insurance, so I took the cheaper way out and decided to pull the teeth that needed the root canals. They are my molers that cant be seen so no big deal to me! That lowered the grand total to $700.00. Much better. I split my dental work and got half done today,$385 then the other half, one more extraction and my 3 fillings, will get done on the 30th. So, now I dont know what to do with myself, home all alone and not allowed to do anything strenuous. Looks like I'll be taking a nap. The Novacane hasnt worn off yet, and I've already taken a pain killer for when it does. So, I'm good to go!
I went and pampered myself yesterday. I went and got my nails done (french manicure) and my eybrows waxed. Had to do something for myself since my whole weekend is gonna involve nothing fun :( . Bobby traded his streetbike for a dirtbike, and fixed little Bobby's fourwheeler that had broke down, so they're gonna be riding out this weekend. Without me! Oh well, atleast when I heal up I wont be in so much pain anymore! Yeah! Well, I'm feeling a little woozy now, so I think its time to go lay down.
    TTYL!

    FREEDOM!

Well, we get a little peace and quiet for a few days. Bobby took Shawn, his girlfriend and their 2 year old out to one of their friends house to stay and give me a little break (sanity). Thank God! LOL. I got a lot of cleaning done today. Housework is not one of Kim's strongest points, actually, dont really know what is. But atleast with just us, it'll stay that way for a couple days instead of just an hour. I can actually lay on my couch and watch a little TV, something I feel like I havent been able to do in ages! They live on our couches. Of course, that's where they sleep at night too, on the fold out couch. Which is soon to be gone. Our neighbor across the street is giving us their old couches, which compared to ours, they're like brand new. They're a chocolate brown color, really big and comfy. We already have the couch, but we have to wait a couple weeks for the love seat until she gets her's that is on order. It's worth it though. If you can remember, I have been wanting new couches for awhile now, and now they're free!!! So, no complaints. We're replacing what used to be a nice sectional that was given to us and since we've moved into a smaller house last year, the whole sectional wont fit in our living room, so we just have pieces that looks tacky. Now it will look pretty nice.

Everything has been going alright though, except for my horrible toothaches I get everyday! I've been trying to get into a dentist for 3 days now. I finally got an appointment on Monday. I cant eat anything hot, cold, or sweet without being in miserable pain. And it seems like the colder it gets outside, the worse toothaches I get. And it seems to flare up mostly at night time. I've been waiting on my income taxes to get work done, I got some $ so now I'm ready! Paid property taxes, got some new glasses...done lots of shopping. It's nice to have some extra cash sometimes. :) Know what I mean? I'm sure you do.

Well, hope everyone else is doing well. I'm gonna try and do some visiting now.

Oh, by the way the pics of My Hailey Cowgirl was from her dress up day at school. That week they had been learning about Cowboys. I had went to eat lunch with her, but i didn't make it in time. Someone told me her lunch was at 12 but it was actually at 11. SO I missed it. *Pout* They had a picnic outside.

    TTYL!

    Its Chilly Here

WoW! Can you say COLD!!! It is freezing here...literally. I don't have warm enough clothes for this kinda weather! This is Florida for goodness sake! I went to Wal-Mart today to get my son a new jacket since his is too small, and can you believe they didn't have not a single jacket!!! Unbelievable.

Anyhow...It's been awhile since I updated and I thought I needed to so you all didn't think I admitted myself LOL.

I ended up getting my day of fun last weekend. Went 4-wheel riding out in the forest. Had lots of fun. I was totally sore the day after, but it was worth it.

I also got to go 4-wheeling again this weekend. We decided to go out to my uncle's property, cook-out, have a bon fire, and just ride out. We made it a family day. We took everybody even invited a couple of friends and their kids. I took handicap (Shawn) for a ride. He loved it. I was scared he was gonna fall off, but he did good. I even took prego(Kim). The trails are flat, so no harm done. I didn't go fast anyway. I didn't get to get any pictures. When you first buy the camera, its internal memory only holds 8 pics. So, I didn't even bother. But after we left, I went to Wal-mart and bought an SD card and now my camera can hold 281 pics!! Whew-whoooo!

Next weekend we are trying to make plans to camp out and ride 4-wheelers again. So I can take some pics now! :) Any volunteers for Babysitting?!?!!??! (Call me) LOL!

My friend had made plans to go out w/me this weekend, but she never called until tonight and I told her she owes me big time for letting me down, so in 2 weekends she is watching all three of my kids for the whole weekend! Isn't that great?!? And she is the one who suggested it. No....I don't want to wait until then to camp.....

Well, work is the same. Has its good days, has its bad. I bought lots of $1.49 stuff today being on the markdowns.

    That's all for now FOLKS!

    The END!

    Talk to yall later!

    January 23

    WACKED!

Today I got to pretend I was a barbar! What fun!

Since last week shawn has been wanting his beautiful hair cut off!

He wants his hair to be all one length to match the area they had to shave for the surgery from his accident. At first I told him no. That he would regret cutting it off. Bobby said he would do it, but when we got outside and all ready for it, he decided not to. He thought he would look stupid. So, I went ahead and did it.

So, I put it in a ponytail (kim wanted to keep his lock of hair) and chopped it right off! Kim started to cry. Which I would've too, if it was my hair. But Shawn wanted it done, so "poof" gone!

(Almost looks like i knew what i was doing for a girl's style, huh?)

Got the buzzers and finished it off!

    And for the Grand Finale.

professional! Not really, cause if you look closely, I kinda tapered this side a little too closely. But I think it doesn't look too bad. I was proud. And he likes it!

    January 19

    No more mojo...

This week has been totally exhausting! I am drained. There's a lot of work in going to work everyday then coming home and taking care of 8 people, yes, 8. As of Sunday, Shawn, his girlfriend, and their 2 year old now live with us. Long story, but to sum it up, his mother pretty much just gave up on him. Sad. It's been hard, especially on me cause I am the one who does everything like....cook, clean, laundry, baths, and try to take care of myself. Can you say sleep depravation?!? My house is very small and 4 kids run around the house everyday like zoo animals. Shawn Jr. has a biting, pinching, and cursing problem. Poor little Kaileb looks like he gets beat. He is covered in bite marks and bruises from Jr. pinching him. I just don't know how much longer I can take it. My truck broke down on Sunday, my boyfriend and I have been sharing his truck back and forth to 2 different jobs and picking up the kids. Wednesday night, his truck broke down, while I was driving it, of course.(and I really don't drive bad, either) Thank God, it was something simple and Bobby had it fixed that nite. My truck was fixed last night but I cant drive it until it gets it oil change tonight. Work has been stressful, no payroll and nobody to hire for help. Between me and 2 other ladies at work, we are doing work that 6 people are supposed to do. They've moved me back to stock, which I am not very happy about, because they need the help so bad. "When it rains, it pours". So, I've told Bobby, I don't care what, when or how, that one day this weekend, I WILL have a day of no work and all play. I deserve it! If not, I might have to admit myself! LOL!

I feel alittle more relaxed knowing its Friday and Shawn went out visiting so I have alittle minute to myself. I'm gonna try and go watch my mom's photo shoot tonight for a calendar she is posing in as a showgirl for a charity event. Should be fun.

Well, I hope everyone had a better week than I did, and have a good weekend! TTYL!

    January 07

    Life is full of Surprises!

After I got back from shopping with my mom, Shawn's mom pulled up in the yard, I thought to come and look at a car we are giving Shawn's girlfriend, but to our surprise, she waved me over to the truck to see SHAWN sitting in the front seat! He is HOME!!!!! It was so awesome! His mom stayed over night w/Shawn last night in an apartment rented  by the rehab center to see how she would do taking care of him alone. It went so well, that instead of coming home Monday, they went ahead and discharged him today! He is going back in for multiple surgeries now to fix the torn ligaments, fractures and dislocations that they didn't bother fixing before. He has about 3 more to go. One on his knee, his hand, and his shoulder. The first thing Shawn did when they got him in his wheelchair, was get right back out of it to show us how much better he had gotten at walking. (remember how the Doctors said he would never walk again...) He is real stiff-legged, but is doing great!  2 months and 4 days and is home now. It felt like forever though.

As for me and work, going good. Within the last week I have been moved form stock to mark-downs. A girl had quit, so I offered to fill the position. My manager didn't like that too much, he says I am too strong and I hold the stock room together, but after a week he put me on. Temporarily. Well, as of last week since I have been on that team, the markdown numbers have gone up so much that he wants to keep me on that full time!  It's much easier...I don't come home totally exhausted and my feet don't hurt me so much. I have a little more freedom and am not being pushed so hard to get stuff done. I like it a lot.

Kids are back to school tomorrow! Yeah! Although, Hailey has been back and Kaileb has been back, so now its time for little Bobby. He's been going to work with his dad during the days making lots of money from little old lady's that say he is just so cute. And, working hard of course just wondering around bothering all the workers. LOL.

Well, I think that is it for now. Thought I would try out the live writer that my mom came over and worked so hard on getting up and running for me. (Thanks mom) And give Deb an update. Sorry, I just have the hardest time finding TIME! :)

And yet another thankyou to those of you who have been praying for Shawn and his recovery. It has done a wonder.

                                            Chow-Baby!

    December 28

    Hey!

    Hey Guys!

Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas! I know I did!

Bobby and I got the most awesome Christmas present anyone could ask for. Christmas Eve we received a phone call.....from Shawn! The one who was hit by a car! He is talking now! Yep, a miracle! And guess what else?!? He comes home on January 18th!!! He is doing so great. We went and seen him on Wednesday. He is getting back to his old self again...his attitude that is. :)  He kept telling the nurses that if they didnt let him come home with us he was gonna smack them in their heads. LOL. There are problems with him, he whispers and talks really slow, he has problems eating and drinking, and can't bend his knees or his feet. (the doctors are not expecting him to be able to walk again) He knows what happened to him, except he swears he was riding a motorcycle when he was hit. Which he wasnt, he was walking. Anyhoo, that is the update on Shawn. We are gonna try and go see him again on Saturday.

And another awesome Christmas present I received was a new DIGITAL CAMERA!!!! Yep...Finally the old man got me one! Its an HP Photosmart that comes with a printer too! Totally awesome! :) I got lots of other goodies too. It was like I was  a little kid again with all the presents!

Another 3 day weekend coming up! How exciting! Dont know what we're gonna do for New Years, probably nothing like every other year. Would have liked to go fourwheeling but its supposed to rain all day on Monday. Whats new, all the holidays have to be ruined some how. :(

Well, Hope everyone has a Happy and Safe New Years and I'll be on again sometime in 2007!

    A Little Somthing...

    The Lost Purse:

A lady lost her handbag in the bustle of Christmas shopping. It was found by an honest little boy and returned to her. Looking in her purse, she commented, "Hmmm.... That's funny. When I lost my bag there was a $20 bill in it. Now there are twenty $1 bills."

The boy quickly replied, "That's right, lady. The last time I found a lady's purse, she didn't have any change for a reward."
