8月31日 Let's start an epidemic!
Isn't that cute?!? Look at the little monkeys. LOL!
Tonight is Hailey's Open House. Its from 5:30-6:30. I get to see all the stuff she has been doing in preschool. I am excited. She has brought home about three papers that she has done. One was a macaroni and ribbon project, one was a drawing, and the other was a coloring. They are posted on my refrigerator. She has only had one homework paper which was only to fill out some questions "Whats your fav. color?" and things like that and glue a photo of herself on it. They are going to make a book about all the kids in the class so they can get to know each other. She's been coming home lately singing new songs...like "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands". Its cute. Kaileb has learned how to bite. He bit Hailey so hard it swelled up, thank God it didnt break the skin. I guess now is the time to bite him so he'll quit that. That is how Hailey was broke of it. And he no longer throws up when he's dropped off to daycare, he now throws himself into the floor board of the truck and makes me drag him out, kicking and screaming the whole way. Yep- gotta love him. ;) Just what I want to do first thing in the morning. Oh well. And as you all might know, the storm turned into a tropical depression so no harm done...this time. I was prepared though. Well I guess that is it for now. Later. 8月28日 *Well, Not too much to blog about other than I am home babysitting AGAIN. Today daycare was closed so I couldnt go job hunting anyway being home with Kaileb, so I took on my friend's two girls again. No big deal. This week doesn't look like its gonna be a good one anyway. Tropical Storm Ernesto is headed this direction. Soon to be a hurricane. Tonight after I get Hailey from school, I'm headed to the grocery store to get non perishable foods. We were going to purchase a generator, but we realized we could just borrow one from the Boss Man. We don't want to end up like we did two years ago. No electric for a week and a half the first time and a week the second time. I was like 7-8 months pregnant and miserable. Of course this time I'm not pregnant, but still. Since we moved, we now have propane for the water heater and stove. So atleast now I can cook and take a hot shower. But you never know the storm might not get us, but its better to be safe than sorry. So pray for us. Especially cause now we're in a mobile home. TTYL! :) 8月24日 Waiting...The waiting game has begun. :) Yesterday I took the day off from hunting to see if anyone would call, and of course not. So I was out there again today. Alot of places were hiring, I just didn't get a chance to really talk to anyone about a job.
Last night, my mom and I went to Ross to look around and I got an application from there. I filled it out and turned it in first thing this morning. I did get to talk with the manager. One of the positions I applied for just got filled yesterday. (It figures, I was too late) And for the other position, it might be opening up within the next week. So I have gotten some positive feed but no bites yet.
I was talking with my boyfriend today at lunch, and telling him how nobody is going to want to hire me with the hours that I can work-which is during daycare and school hours only-and he said that we'll probably just have to make some sacrafices because "I NEED A JOB!!!"
Hailey's school payments are due today, and daycare on Fridays. $95 a week. Not really that bad but with one income it puts a dent in the wallet. And tomorrow, my boyfriend has the day off!!! So that means while all the kids are in school/daycare, we get some alone time to do what we want. YEAH!!! He wants to go see a movie-"Talladega Nights" and then take me shopping. Can you believe that?!? And tomorrow is the day Lil Sis comes into town. ~Prego~ Can't wait to see how big my neice is getting.
![]() Well thats all for now.
Later. ![]() 8月23日 It's been interesting...Well, Monday was Kaileb's first day of daycare. When I dropped him off, he was fine, I guess cause he didn't realize I was leaving him there, and as soon as I left, Mandi said he cried for like an hour, and cried so hard that he threw up. Which is a normal thing for him. But after he got over it, he was fine the rest of the day.
Tuesday...Same as the day before, only he cried this time for 45 min. and made himself throw up again.
Today, I asked Kaileb before we got to the door if he was gonna be a good boy and if he was gonna cry and throw up today, he said yes. So as I am walking away from the door, he starts bawling. I feel sooooo bad.
But other than that he is doing good. Mandi says that he doesn't like quiet time and won't stay in the living room like everyone else. He wants to be where she is, just like with me. That little cling-on.
As for job-hunting...Monday I took it easy. After dropping the kids off I stopped by my mom's house chit-chatted and drank some coffee. I didn't start the hunt that day, I decided to do absolutely nothing on my first day with NO kids. I hunted yesterday. Went pretty good, I think. I went to 6 different places and got one interview on the spot. It was for a nursing home. The lady said if I would have been there a little bit earlier I could have got the hours that I wanted. But, all she had right now was nights 9-5 and all day weekends. Sorry, but can't do that. The position was for housekeeping.
Today, I think I'm staying home and waiting to see if anyone calls me. If not, I'll be back out there tomorrow applying to places I don't really want to work at but I need a job.
8月20日 Todays Project: PaintingWhat a great find!!! I needed one for my step-son so he can do his homework in his room since the other kids make too much noise and he can't concentrate on what he's doing. The desk was already painted a neon yellowish color, so I went to Home Depot and got a gallon of "oops paint" for $5. Oops paint is paint that was a mistake mixture and they just resell it for way cheap. So I got a bright red. His room is already a neon green, the neon yellow would have looked nice in his room, but the desk needed an uplift. So, that is what I am doing today as soon as I get the youngest boy down for a nap. Paint the desk!!! I love painting. And I might even paint his dresser and his bed posts seeing how I would have enough paint to do so. But I might not. Well, I'm off!!!! See yas later!!
8月18日 This week went by fast.
Don't really have too much to talk about. Just thought I would update. For the last couple days, I have been watching my best friends little girls while she goes to her CNA classes. I have basically traded my two kids in for her two. It's alright though, she would do it for me if I needed her to. Her kids are too cute! Kaileb likes to be stingy and yell at them for every toy they play with and say "MINE". He's gonna have to get over that crap. But its been giving him something to do other than crawl up my butt. Well that's it for now. Gotta get back to the little critters. Have a good day!!!
8月15日 Already done with this week's task...Yea!! Go Rhi-Rhi, it's your birthday!!! LOL!!!
Yep, I did it, and at just the right time. Seeing how everyone has gone back to school she has openings. He's going to be going to the same sitter I have had my daughter at since she was about 2 months old. And can you believe this...she is going to let me keep paying the same price as before even though she has upped her price by $20. Isnt that nice? Tomorrow, I go to fill out the usual paperwork and by Monday he will be in. That is when the real fun begins-Job Hunting. As for what line of work, dunno. I used to paint new constructed houses before I found out that I was pregnant with Kaileb. I dont really want to get into that again (even though I loved it and am good at it,but ) because I don't want to have to come home totally exhausted and not want to deal with home life. Ya know what I mean? Desk jobs don't suit me either, I get too bored. I don't have a highschool diploma and no certifications for anything, so I'm really just gonna have to get what I can.
Well I'm off to pick Hailey up from school. Later.
8月14日 Hailey's 1st Day of SchoolToday is the day....
The First day that is, of preschool. Yea!! I have been up since I don't even know what time, totally excited. My mom pointed out about how most people cry, but not me. I cried the first day she was in daycare so preschool really isn't a big deal to me. I am happy. I get a little break now. This week starts daycare hunting for Kaileb. Next week starts the job hunting. That is going to be a hard seperation, for him, not me. But who knows. I took him with me to drop sissy off and hang out for awhile and fight the other parents for snap shots, and of course to meet the teachers. When it was time to go, Kaileb didn't want to, he was too busy playing with the toys and watching all of the action with the other kids. So it might not be as hard as I think it will be. We'll see and I'm sure you all will hear about it.
So right after dropping her off, I stopped by my mom's house to drink some coffee and show her the pics that I took. Seing how I don't have anything to do anymore. It's actually kinda nice, I better enjoy it while I can, cause hopefully soon enough I'll have a job.
Back to the work force I come... 3 years is long enough to stay home.
8月13日 *Music*I am so excited. I never could figure it out with media player, which I don't even have anymore since MSN did the change.
But Mark from: http://Markslack.spaces.live.com/ helped me with that problem. And it was so simple. Thankyou Mark. And Thankyou Carolyn whom I stole the music from awhile back.
This song will be temporary until I can find something else. This was just a test, that WORKED!!! :)
Have a good one.
8月12日 ~Flashback~Today I had quite a scare...
We used to live in a house where the doors were extremely heavy and one night my daughter woke up to use the restroom (still half asleep) and wasnt watching out for my son, who at the time was only 11 months old, and his fingers were in the jam and either opening or shutting the door, the tip of his forefinger got chopped off. I called my mom to watch the kids while I took him to the hospital. While waiting for her we tried to find the tip but couldn't. I figured it was necessary to have so they could possibly put it back on, but of course not. Mom made it there and found it for us. It was in the bolt of the hinge. His finger wasnt fixable but it did end up growing another nail bed and looks normal now except for a little nubbiness. Anyway, point being...Today while I was washing the dishes, Kaileb got into the garbage and got his finger stuck in an aluminum food can. Oh my goodness, I thought here we go again!!!
Bobby, his daddy, got his finger out without any cuts, but it sure did give me a scare!!
8月10日 Great Day!!Kids are off to school-Yeah! The oldest boy started 3rd grade today. Just by taking him to school and knowing that there aren't a hundred neighborhood kids running around my yard relaxed me greatly. Monday my daughter will start her first day of preschool. I think I am more excited than she is. I can't wait to get her all dressed up in her new clothes and have her pose for a picture. I'm going to borrow mom's camera so I can get a half way decent shot.
Any way I guess I'm going to go read some of my book. I ended up not reading Mary Higgins Clark because I went and bought a new book. Intensity by Dean Koontz. Yep just cant quit reading him now. Mom got me hooked. The book started off great and had me tensed up while I was reading it, I'm only on Chapter 3.
Enjoy your day. Chow. 8月9日 *New Space*8月8日 Book UpdateFinally finished my book...
I was reading Life Expectancy by Dean Koontz and had a hard time keeping up with reading it being so busy with kids and life but finally found some time to complete it. I must have read about 100 pages of it just last night because I had gotten to a really good part (Twist, I should say) that I just couldn't seem to put it down. I have it listed on my book list if you're interested. I borrowed this book from my mom, who seems to be Dean Koontz' number one fan, and who got me liking him. A couple weeks ago my mom and I went to the public library and inside had a used book sale and I bought like 3 books for .75 for all. I think I'm gonna take a little break from Dean and read a book by Mary Higgins Clark- " A Cry in the Night". I heard this author was interesting so I guess I shall see. Well I am going to go ahead and get a head start on the book before I have to get ready to go. See ya'll Later!!
8月7日 Friends...
Thankyou.
8月5日 Comcast Headline...A Funny but not so funny story...
On my homepage there was a headline about a lady being stuck on a toilet.
At a mall in Iowa, a 53 year old lady was stuck to a toilet. Supposedly some one had put some kind of cement compound around the toilet seat and the poor little old lady got her butt stuck. Paramedics had to use nailpolish remover to unglue her. After all was said and done she had some burns on her that were a little painful and said that that was the most embarrassing moment in her whole life. They are treating the case as assault and vandalism.
Isn't that just cruel? Why do people have to be like that?
Karma will get whoever did that one day.
8月3日 *New Movie*8月2日 Horrible!!!Oh My G**!! I hate what has been done to my space!!!
I want it back the old way. To me...Nothing was changed for the better, its just different. I hate how I can't see my whole page at the same time, or is that just something that I haven't figured out yet? Anyhow I guess this will take some getting used to. I just got used to the old ways.Well, shopping went well. I almost managed to spend the whole spending limit. But the kids are pretty much set. Girls are so much easier to shop for, I had my daughters stuff picked out in no time at all, the rest of the day was spent on a boy.
I guess I'm gonna check out everything thats all messed up now-is there somewhere to complain about this?-or am I the "Lone Ranger" on this subject? Later. 8月1日 Shopping Day!!Mom's gonna watch the kids for me today while I go shopping for school clothes and supplies. Too bad I didn't have the money Yesterday I turned in the enrollment papers for my daughter's school. She was very upset to see that at her school was a huge blow up jumping-slide and she wasn't allowed to play on it. It was for the summer program kids. On the 8th I have to take the oldest boy to his orientation for 3rd grade. (Supposed to be in 5th, but thats a different story)
And as for Chuck-E-Cheese... It was fun but they needed to turn down the a.c., it was crowded in there and hot. I took some pictures of the kids with Chuck-E and I just tried to download 'em in the computer but the darn things had been erased and I am so P.O.ed. I want an early Christmas or B-Day present like today-a Digital Camera!!!
Well Adios Amigos!! |
