10月28日 Happy Halloween! Hey everybody! Yep, I'm still alive! Barely. Working my butt off! My mom is back online, like most of you have already seen and she has been telling me to update. I was really unsure if I even wanted to since I can hardly even keep up with it. I was honestly thinking of just deleteing my site. But, I guess I'll keep it, and just post something whenever I can, like today. :)
So, Halloween is coming up. Thursday night I took the kids to a Halloween party at our community building funded by the library. Its just something for the kids to play games, get candy, face paintings, clowns making balloons, crafts, snacks, and a costume contest.We have been going for the last 3 years. The first year we went, Hailey won 3rd place in the costume contest as a witch and received a $5 gift card to Wal mart. She was cute. This year she won 2nd place as a Guinevere and received a $10 gift card. Couldnt believe it! My mom said when I was little I used to win lots of contests too. So, like mother, like daughter.
Tonight, we are going to go to Trick or Treat on Main Street and get lots of goodies there. My mom usually works the event, but tonight will be her first time able to go WITH the kids and enjoy it.
I have a few other things planned for the kids I just need more information such as when and wheres. But it should be lots of fun.
I couldnt find Kaileb a costume so he is just wearing Halloween clothes. His shirt is glow in the dark that says: "Just Rattling", with a skeleton dude on it. Bobby is Scream. His mask is a silly one with his tongue sticking sideways out of his mouth. And Hailey is of course a Guinevere. I'm sure after tonight, there will be pictures.

Aloha! Just wanted to leave a quick update...Its way past my bed time! :) I took a 3 hour nap today after I got off work so I'm not tired but I know I need to go to sleep or I wont get up in the morning. Today I was in charge at work for 2 hours. It went pretty smoothly. I was really nervous because I have only been working there for a month, but the supervisor chose me to cover her while she was off over the other girls that have been there alot longer than me. She said its because I am a consistent worker and I dont whine when my hours get cut and beg for more but then when more hours are offerred I dont refuse. They love me LOL! But nobody gave me any problems cause all I really had to do was take safety precautions and make sure our station was clean so nobody slipped and hurt themselves. Everybody knows their jobs. I was afraid we wouldnt get any work done due to goofing off, but we actually did awesome! even with less people working than usual. We usually have 7 people unpacking a 102 box truck load. But today we had 4 people unpacking a 126 load!! and was done around the same time as any other day! Well, time to go...Tomorrow is Friday!!! Yeah!!!! Hope you all have a great weekend! TTYL! ~Rhiane~ 10月8日 Another Busy Week! Hey Guys! Hope everyone had a good weekend! Mine was totally boring. My boyfriend and I took the kids to the park and let them play for a little bit. That was kinda nice especially with this beautiful weather we are having lately! My walks have been very enjoyable cause of it too. :) Yep, still on the "watching what I eat and excercising" kick! I am very proud of myself. This is probably a record length of time too ;). Friday I got my first paycheck from work! Too bad I didnt get to see any of it! It all went to bills. But it was nice to be able to help out. Next paycheck (every two weeks-grrrr) I am going to get the kids Halloween Costumes. Hailey's school needs them to dress up for a parade they are going to do for the Church, so she cant be anything scary. They are supposed to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up. Hailey says she wants to be "One of those guys who wears the green thing that covers their mouth" LOL! That is either: a surgeon, a dentist, or a plain old doctor. She says a dentist-that makes perty smiles. So I'm going to be on the hunt for that. Bobby wants to be some kind of scary monster. And dont know what I am going to do for little man. I dont think he is going to do too good with wearing a costume. We'll see, I guess. I was wanting to make their costumes this year, but I just dont have time anymore. :( Also going to start a layaway for Christmas next pay day too. My b-day, my son's b-day, my daughter's b-day, then my mom's b-day is all from next month till before Christmas. I usually buy all presents when the $ is there, but then after Christmas, we're broke! So I'm trying a different approach this year! My boyfriend doesnt like layaway cause he thinks that if we cant make that payment when its due, we'll loose everything and our $. But that wont happen. Hey, everyone! I have been so busy with work, and being sick that I havent really had too much time for myself, let alone the computer! My job has upped my hours and has totally wore me out! LOL! After I get home I can hardly walk. My whole body hurts. I havent excercised at all since I've been working more. I get all the exercise I can handle there! :) My kids are still sick (getting worse) and they got me sick. Thats normal. So, just thought I would let everyone know that I am still alive....hope you guys havent given up on me! Bare with me until I can get used to beeing pooped all the time! ~hugs/kisses~ *Rhiane* |
